Hi! I'm newbie here... From Transtopia
I saw my mentor is here so hi Dev!
I posted this on Transtopia and TFW2005 so some of you guys may have seen this...
Here is my latest work. Custom Soundwave / Classics Soundwave
Parts used for this:
Titanium Soundwave
Classics Ramjet, Robot Heroes Soundwave for head.
Head is mounted on a balljoint found on legends Fireflight.
You may realize that the radio mode is'nt much but the robot mode kicks it!
Really, the titanium with diaper was a nightmare and I knew I could do something to improve it.
Enjoy!!!
Edit:
I got some people asking me for details on "how to" so the best way is this I guess. Hope this helps.

I saw this over at Transtopia the other day and I must say I love it! The robot mode is Stellar. Too bad there's not alot you can do with the alt-mode to begin with...
I love your work.

Actually, there is potential. I don't know if you saw, but I made a couple of suggestions at Transtopia... if Ptitvite can make them work (and I have every confidence that he can - he's good), they might just make the alt-mode as cool as the robot. Fingers crossed, and all...

in my opinion the original Soundwave, like the Dinobots, cannot be improved upon. but this robot mode is fantastic. the alt mode works for me too. Nice work.
cheers.

Yep I saw them. It's a good idea to have it slide into the chest cavity. It's a great idea.

but I just have concerns with it just looking like a blue brick...It did look like a brick to begin with. Perhaps some speaker heads on the legs there, you think?

Cool...id like to do this as well, but that visual description is a bit vague and i lack the know how to do it myself and im not willing to risk my only tit soundwave.

Very cool!! Great work! I like the first pic you posted, showing exactly what you used and describing what you did. Very informative and helpful, though I doubt I'll ever attempt anything more complicated than a repaint!

Still one of the best Soundwaves I have ever seen.
I actually prefer this baby over the mp3 Soundwave coming out.
In fact, it's so good me bro's gonna do the bash from what you've written here!
Kudos man! Your work makes everybody happy!

ptitvite - i'm getting thier using you're ideas. just a question:
the seeker knees: did you try to expand the calf hole on the soundwave legs to put the seeker's knees inside (cuz it's real close fit with no dremeling, wouldn't take much to expand that square hole), or was it more sturdy to do what you did and dremel out the areas on the sides, where the knees went in.
does that make sense?
anyhoo, this is one of the greatest ideas ever, and has turned into my first KB. done some repaints, but this idea was too good to pass up.
thanks

Great bash. The alt mode isn't changed much, so no greif there. What I can't get is how Robot Heroes Soundwave's head looks so good on him.
You sir, are the man.

You can't modify his lower legs (diecast)
You can't modify his torso (diecast)
You can't make more space between the balljoints that hold the legs
The only way I found for him to be able to transform so that the legs correctly align with the torso when in radio mode is
by dremeling a bit of space to put the knees.
Make tests by transforming him without any glue, you will undertand what I mean. Don't be in a hurry

That MP3 Soundawave is very disappointing as an MP3 player. Very nice job on this one, though.
