I just planned to sell it because that would be my 3rd. Still you got me curious about that "uprade" you mentioned.

You've never seen the mod for the Energon scramble combiners?
http://cybertronphils.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Customs&action=print&thread=11741

It's perfectly doable with Bruticus as well.

Woah.. This give me an idea. I have a spare 2007 Movie Voyager Starscream. I wonder if I could fuse both him and Xover Hulk to make some kind of triple changing Blitzwing? I never done any customs before so I may bite more than I can chew...

Edit: Oh yeah, and a 2007 Deluxe Brawl too, to add to that crazy project of mine.

Sounds like an interesting project. :) Humorously enough, my 07 Thundercracker is chilling here on my desk at the moment. I can kind of visualize how that might work.

OMG OMG OMG! YES! YES!!!

This WILL work!
Here's a very rough sketch of what I have in mind for the tank mode:
Image
It WILL be a triple changer. The 2007 Movie Screamers is very bulky in it's underside as it is and it would be challenging, but doable! As for painting, I thought using the infamous "paint pens".

LET'S DO THIS THING!
(Will create a new thread for this very project pretty soon.)

Nice :) The mold is so bulky anyway, it lends itself well to being remade into Blitzwing. xD

I did it. I went to visit mom this weekend and use the opportunity to get help from my stepdad that have the tools.

The thing is still unpainted, but I managed to make a TRIPLE CHANGER!

I Call him "Blitzwing's brother, Cybertronian mode".

No, this is BLITZTHING!

Here's the SPACESHIP mode. Yeah. Spaceship. Not jet. For a spaceship, it IS very sexy and streamlined, even with all that bulk. Here's the various angles:

Even from the underside, it look very clean. This is obviously the most important mode or the main altmode.

Here's the tank mode. You can call this a "fan mode". Still, for a "Cybertronian" tank, this work. Unfortunately, I have no choices but to make the treads face the wrong way, the deailed gears on the inside. I may fix this with some kind of labels or somthing. Fixing the tank cannon in place was very hard to figure out... until I realised that 2007 Deluxe Brawl's arms could attach on the tiny rear-wing's ball joints!

It's not perfect, but it work.

Finally, the robot mode. It's very ape-like. I don't know if I could call him "Blitzwings". He's some kind of flying ape. Still, this is a very awesome and brutal looking bot mode.

2007 voyager Starscream, 2007 deluxe Brawl, and Marvel Xover Hulk (green tank) were not sacrificed in vain. The paint still need to be done. I may need a few hints for that. I like that final result very much and he's standing proudly next to my Geewun Brix.

I may be blind as a bat, but I did not find it. Ask mods for a move?

Thanks guys! That's a whole day of work that was very worth it!

Before I paint it, I'll make sure to practice on cheap knock off first. I don't want this to be covered in a thick layer of gooish fail.

What else do you have planned? On the right section I await them all.

First, learning to properly paint a Transformer to perfectly paint Blitzthing.

Next, I dunno. I usually go by bursts of inspirations. One day, I may look at two broken transformers and go all "NOW KISS!".

And here I was thinking everyone read my weekly creative round ups. You know, the ones with the big ol links to the Creative threads. :-(

Oh and i've taken the liberty of moving your post for you and gave it a new title (so this is your thread, anyone else can create their own damn thread and show off their twisted ideas that way)

(By twisted I mean it's completely twisted and insane and I like it)

I also have my Legoformer that only need a few touch ups of paint. I'll show him next.

That is seriously cool!

(Not as cool as Geewun Brix, but there you go.)

I am really looking forward to seeing the painted version.
Any ideas what colours you'd like to try?

First, I'll have to change the head. Because, it's way too much Hulk. I'll have to find a compatible head from some broken toy first.

As for paint...

For the base coat, I tought spraying the whole thing with a very thin layer of Kreon silver paint. It's not too shiny, it leave a very clean finish, it hide the previous color perfectly, and it settle in every little details.

Next, I'll do the rest using "paint pens".

Any paint expert able to tell me if it will work?

I'm not an expert, but I think you should give it a black base coat before doing any light colours. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong!

I use black spray paint before. Iron ically, it hide LESS than metalic paint. It also leave a thick layer and I don't want that.

However, I will try to find a metalic paint that is as dark as possible.

A head that MIGHT be compatable ... Beast Machines Tankorr.

He always came across as a "HULK SMASH" type character to me. In fact, when I get around to it, I intend to transplant said head onto the Hulk mold to do a "SMASH!" version of my CATalyst character (who was repainted/modified from BM Tankorr)

Only ONE offered on Ebay right now. At more than 30$ total too, I will never have the heart to take it appart.

I'm going from times to times to two thrifts stores regularely. I know I WILL be lucky.

And yes, it will have a robo-brute head. Just not The Hulk's.

This is just so, wierd, its big, It's bulky and not streamlined at all. Hell, it's not even painted,
BUT I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!
Seconded on the drone head too.

Thanks to all your feedback and 4chan's, I went to sleep 3 hours late this night.

I modded my Biltzthing to death and now I'm 100% satisfied!

First of all, the new spaceship mode. It now look more of a spaceship than ever before.

Image
Image
Image

The tank mode have been improved by a lot. No more hands-revealing holes on the side of the treads and the cannon is now in the center of the tank.

Image
Image
Image

Figuring out how to fix that new head was quite a challenge. Beast Machine Deluxe Optimus Primal was not sacrificed in vain.
Image
Beside, Blitzthing was always and will always be a nasty ape.
Image
And now for a stiff 360.
Image
Image
Image
Image

Blitzthing is now really happy to be beside Geewun Brix.
Image

Now, no more desing changes.
Final step will be to paint him. I'll be sure to not paint over any clear surfaces.

Goodnight!

Red and blue? Ew...

Nahhh, I thought maybe a more "organic" look will be appropriate. With lots of patterns and such.

Beside, it will cover up my mess-ups!

By the way, the head cannot rotate fully from side to side this time. However, the transformation allow him to move his head up and down almost 190°.

The big arms were always ape like looking for me. Beside, the Hulk head gave me the impression that Hulk was wearing a Starscream suit.

I liked Beast Machine Deluxe Optimus Primal's beast head a lot. He's pretty cheap, and easy to find so it was not a big deal to "kill" him. Damn figuring out how to deal with this head was hard! Luckily, two 2007 Starscream leftover pieces and lots of cutting was the miraculous solution.

The claw arm on the shoulder broke at the ball-joint due to my clumsyness. I spent one hour just to fix that mistake.

This time, I was alone at home to finish him. The only tools I could use were a cutter knife, my drill, and a couple of screwdrivers. I had to do a lots of dangerous cutting and drilling. It's a miracle there's not blood everywhere.

This is what remain of my carnage:
Image
No way I'm trowing any of that away. I will surely do more customs in the future. Any parts can save the day.

Optimal Optimus, good sir, not G1 Prime. xD

Thanks for your feedback. However, I find Optimal Optimus colors unappealing. I do have an idea what collor to paint Blitzthing. It will be the same collors as BM OP. Meaning a black base, gold detailings, with dark blue and purple highlights.

Call me lazy but for that first custom, I don't want to make a big risk. Using a black paint pen, I will cover all the Hulk green and the Starscream gray. Brawl's arms will be black and dark-blue.All hands and threads will be silver. The cannon will be gold. All other colors will remain as is.

The final touch will be Decepticon faction symbols.
