Kreon Combiner Upgrade Hands

I'm really rather disappointed with the official "hands" for the Kreon Micro-change Combiners. Two legs standing in as two fat fingers really doesn't do it for me. So I knew right away that I needed to do something about it.

None of these are available in my shop until I get some kreon sets in hand and can confirm the measurements. They are, of course, untested as well.

My first offering is a Simple hand part that allows you to continue to use the legs as fingers, but also includes a thumb joint so that you can attach an extra arm to use as the thumb. It also has a 3mm grip so it can hold onto the weapons.

With the addition of a second thumb joint, these Simple hand parts can double as a small torso

My next set of hands is far more complex but yields greater rewards. These deluxe hands feature 5 individually articulated fingers with 2 joints each and a swivel at the thumb. Rather than relying on ball joints or pop joints, these will require the customer to provide a paperclip to be used as an axle for all of the joints. They also feature a pop hinge joint at the wrist and could easily be adapted for non-kreon customs as they are about Voyager sized. (12mm across the knuckles not including the thumb.

I've gone even further and detailed the Deluxe hands so that there is a unique set for each combiner:

Next up, I'm going to work on creating unique helmets for each gestalt and some accessories that will enhance each one.

Dude, those look great! The detailing on the hands was a clever touch, as well.

Wow,

I have a set of combiners on the way, and these would totally rock, the fat finger are also a problem for me.

A friend in Singapore has already ordered the deluxe hands to test them out. I would recommend waiting till I get some feedback on them. Unless you are feeling adventurous that is ;)

I just got a TON of feedback from a customer that ordered the Omega Set, mainly on the forearms and having a LOT of trouble getting the ball joints to go in the sockets. Did you have any problems on your Bruiser kit in that area? (or any other areas?)

Absolutely no problems with it at all
I was apprehensive about pressure needed to pop the joint in but after that.........piece of cake

Awesome, thanks man. I made some modifications to the forearms so hopefully as much force won't be required. Also added some Lego posts to the sides. :)
