hey all

im planning on doing a custom classics version of beast machines strika but im not sure what figure to use as a base to build on.

my criteria are that she:

be of a decent size compared to lugnut
be a big wheeled vehicle
fit into the classics asthetic
have enough room for custom built cannons to be attached in vehicle mode

right now my cheif suspect for the job is Transformers prime RID bulkhead. he may only be a four wheeled truck but i think with the right mods could be a very convincing strika.

any other suggestions or tips would be very welcome

AM Breakdown would also work, though, that pricetag...
Classics Onslaught too, though thats not my idea.

many thanks for the suggestion and the welcomes man

both of those figures would be great but like you say their pricetags do get in the way.

other folks seem to say what you do so it looks like RID bulkhead is the way to go.

as much as id like to get the botcon strika, it just doesnt scream strika to me and is too small.

hopefully il start it and have it done by the summer.

by the way. il be posting a gallery of my custom blackout and i promise it is totally epic!

hey all

gonna and keep this thread updated as best i can and my first update is that i bought the RID bulkhead figure to convert into strika

so far i havent modded the figure yet but i have taken bulkheads mechtech weapon pulled it apart and put it back together to form strikas fusion rifle and it is mighty boom stick!
