Does anyone have any tips on removing the shoulders from 25th/30th anniversary G.I. Joe figures (3 3/4")? I have looked around, and the only method I've seen is to split apart the torso. If anyone has any less...damaging ideas, I'd appreciate the help.

Usually you can heat the socket with a hair dryer until it's soft enough. But I haven't tried it on that scale before. Hasbro makes some funky arm joints. Try a GIJOE or Marvel Universe customs forums for better help. There are lots of people doing what you are you trying all the time. Hisstank.com and figurerealm are a couple.

Thanks, Mass. Yeah, the arms aren't exactly customizer friendly. I'll keep up the search!
