Recently someone added ankle joints to a new shockwave figure.
I come here because no one is answering my messages on how.
so anyone have any thoughts or product names/links on what to use to add ball joints to transformer figures.
can't find much on ebay or maybe i'm using the wrong search words.
so anyways any help is appreciated.

adding articulation can be very, very tricky. you have to examine how the feet are attached to the leg, and if you CAN add a join there. disassemble the leg if necessary. the easiest way, i would think, to add articulation is putting a joint into the ankle, in a way that doesnt hinder the transformation. doing this is tough, since you would have to find/ make a joint strong enough to hold in place, and then get a glue/ epoxy that is strong enough to hold it in the toy. hope this helps.

I really appreciate the input, im very creative and can figure something out and make something work.
but I need the pieces before I can get started.
so my original question was more towards "what" kind of joint I can buy instead of "how"
so links or product names is what I really need.
and what would really help is the first guy who actually made this work tell me but he won't respond on his post or to personal messages so it must be some sort of trade secret.

for joints, go with some other joint from a transformer that fits, or use racheting legos.

i bought a cheap lego kit from walmart. it had a lot of ball joint pieces to make some sort of warrior figure.
some epoxy glue, dremel cutting and some creativity and i got it to work pretty darn good.
so thanks guys
