Turn Cybertron Defense Red Alert / Universe Countdown into a ready-made trailer-armor for Generations Fall of Cybertron Optimus Prime / Ultra Magnus with a series of add-on parts from Mind_Crafter. Below photos are the latest progress in combined robot and trailer mode as well as size comparison with Generations Springer.




No cutting is needed to Red Alert/Countdown. Only screws on thighs and pines on the white shoulder parts are to be removed. The greyed and gridded parts in attached photo are those not needed for the moment. The add-on set includes new shoulders so in future the blue and white shoulder parts will not be needed as well.


As the project proceed, the add-on parts will be made available separately (e.g. some might only need the knees pair for their own customizations) and eventually in a set when all are done. Below are the available sequence for the moment.

1. 'Chest, Waist and Hip' set
2. 'Shoulder, Forearms and Hands' set
3. 'Head and Neck' set (the head might have copyright issue :<)
4. Others

Knee Connector Lite (MC-KC01L) is the first and essential item in this series of add-on parts. Below are details of the knees pair available in Mind_Crafter shop in Shapeways:

1. connect the lower legs of RA and legs of FOC OP to form that of the combined Prime
2. remain attached and concealed inside the vehicle when in trailer mode
3. take full advantage of the knee and pelvis joints of the said toys to allow highly poseable legs in combined robot mode
4. snap-fit to the said toys with no glue or screw needed

That's bloody cool. Can't wait to see it finished, might actually prompt me to buy my first Shapeways kit!

That being said, robot mode ... needs something big on the back, wings or guns or something. But otherwise, love it!

That is immensely amazing! This could be an excellent add-on for a Magnus figure, too!

Great idea. It looks better to me then that 3rd party kit that is coming out for FOC Ultra Magnus. An Ultra Magnus kit would be great, but will definitely need new shoulders, shoulder missiles, and a hammer.
