Megs is currently standing on my shelf with my other 3H Botcon figures and I couldn't be happier. This thing is amazing !

Thanks to Encline Designs for deciding to put this phenomenal piece up for auction. I finally feel like my 3H Botcon Beast Wars collection is complete.

This custom represents this version of Megs and is a repaint/retool (new head and all that looks spot on) of RID Megatron. Additional info on this figure can be found here:

A retool of Robots in Disguise Megatron as a post-Beast Machines Megatron was proposed by 3H for OTFCC 2005, but this idea was lost when 3H forfeited the license to Fun Publications. It would have had a Rubber Ducky accessory. No, seriously. It would have been that awesome.

Dayum, does that look nice.

This would have been a serious moneymaker, had 3H been given the liberty of making this.

I want to include this in the roundup, but I'm trying to think how.

Well, despite it not being his custom, it's a custom nonetheless. So I'd stick it in there as "xyl360 shares with us a custom 3h-style Beast Wars Transmetal II Megatron made by some dude on eBay".

Off-topic question while I got you on the line: do you know when you'll start those user interviews that we started signing up for a month or two back?

Yeah but then you leave the door open for people who buy customs from someone else. The whole idea of the round-ups is to give credit to the creators. (And for the customs to be recent)

Comparing what Funpub did to what I've already got I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything. I'm not a fan of their use of vacumetal chrome instead of the flat flame looking fades and blends from the original 3H artwork or the use of clear plastic for some of the purple bits. I am getting the Predacus set though (already preordered on BBTS) because I've been waiting on Unicron's descendants (the Tripredacus Council) for a very long time .

This is so much nicer than the actual con exclusive Megatron it's not even funny.
