Actually I'm having mixed feelings bout these 2 boys. At one end of the spectrum... I'm not too keen about building their van modes coz they're pretty plain-looking and I can't divert too much from such boring shape . I'm torn between trying to modernize the alt modes but scared overdoing them until they no longer have that G1 vibe.

At the other end of the spectrum... I'm very pleased with the proportions of the final outcomes of the bot modes. The amount of kibbles are just right . I love how the legs are formed too (Was worried at first a blocky van might end up with blocky pair of legs) . And those abs... look at them . :)

A slight regret though, not able to improve on the structural integrity any longer. I personally rate this part 7/10 because the arms easily popped out when I tried to transform them. The oversized shoulders is also a tough one to tackle.

That's very impressive. And they transform without being taken apart? Wow. If that design was turned into a non-Lego figure it would totally wipe the floor with HAsbro's offering.
