can anyone tell me where iam going wrong

hi guys sorry for long absence from this forum just been really busy with work and stuff hope everyone is well and stuff


ive been trying to do my customs but iam failing poorly to say the least

ive washed the transformer iam using and put on the white paint undercoat

i then left it to dry after it drys i painted it with acrylic modal paint i painted it twice but the paint dosent set well and becomes rough to the touch

is there anything ive missed or not doing right thanks in advance :CON:

Hey there,

What brand of paint are you using? I've found white and yellow are really tough basecoating colors to use on Transformers. You may have to either airbrush Testors Model master white on or use Tamiya Spray Lacqer to do your basecoat.

hi mate thanks for the reply

i use wilkos acrylic paint for both the undercoat and overcoat ive been toying with the idea of using enamal paint the same kind you use on modal aeroplanes but not sure if its a good idea or not
