The Energon Pub

Instead of letting my Megatron and Starscream sets collect dust, I decided to make something a little more... not redundant with a Kreon:

Trypticon! Inspired more by his WfC self than the original.
This is my first attempt at a custom like this, and I really don't have much of a plan going in, but so far it's going smoothly. Hopefully the eventual task of having him stand on his own two feet goes just as well.
For a sense of scale:

I would've liked something smaller and more manageable, but I couldn't figure out how to make a smaller head or arms look as good.
And yes, that's a Kreon Full-Tilt:

Who can attach to Tryp's chest, although it's kinda weird looking...

Double-guns in his mouth
Wish I had the parts for more teeth, oh well...

Even more weapons on his wrists

A hunk of Dark Energon in his head (brain? another gun? power source? who knows...)

Lower body to come... eventually.

Figuring out the legs made me realize how much I HATE those rubber ball-joints...

Completed building Trypticon! (with Full-Tilt attached)

His heft (and the general weakness of Kre-O joints) makes it hard for Tryp to stand without being in a sort of squat, though I don't mind it since his legs would be rather gangly otherwise. Plus it seems a touch more dinosaur-esque.

I was actually starting to run out of decent parts when I got to his tail, hence its segments not being uniform. Still, very happy with how he turned out.


Small guns on the tail to discourage Autobots from clambering up.

Hip cannons. Tryp sure has a lot of guns on him...


Trypticon is officially the tallest single TF I have. He kinda cheats, though, with that big noggin of his, heh!
