So, here was my dilema. When the Predacons Rising series came out, Twinstrike was the only Terrorcon to show up in Central Indiana. I sprang for the Target set just in case I never got a whack at the the others. It only took them until December to finally trickle in one at a time, and I was left with a rock-candy looking transformers figure of Abominus. and a much better looking Abominus in solid colors. And Cindersaur, who served as a leg for any time an overthinking Autobot decided to shoot one of the others out. This, is the result...

I sprayed the Grey and Black first from rattlecans, but the rest of the colors are hand-painted based on photos of his G1 toy using a microbrush or three. I took liberties with paining the talons a nice metallic silver. My only regret was painting his fingers too though, only because they stick out like a sore thumb from the back of his beast mode legs. Ah well.

Everyone rags on the little Terrorcons. I don't know why. Size? I'm not saying that I wouldn't go for a deluxe based Abominus if the opportunity didn't present itself, but they're just the right size for re-enacting Velociraptor style Jurassic Park scenes.

This still leaves me with four more terrorcons to paint. Thought about doing the rest of the Firecons, but the Takara version of the bird dude looks an awful lot like what I would've painted Flamefeather to look like. Maybe Birdbrain?

Nice work! The colors look so much better on him and really match his G1 look well!
