Love the new Targetmasters, do not love the orange handle they are stuck with between their ankles. Modded thusly:

The orange grips are now back kibble, but IMHO less obtrusive. A simple matter of bending a bit of plastic on the inside of the base of the barrel, at the edge of the pocket where the head tucks into in gun mode, and the orange grip section will press-fit into place. You can lift the by there if you do it right. And balance is not impacted, note the rearward position of the arms.

Good idea! If I can find another Scoop I may try this out.

Nice job! Did you consider removing a bit of plastic from the inside area, as it looks like you have stressed the plastic a fair bit, looking at the marks. Do you think it would have been possible to shave plastic off the inside, as I would love to do this myself.

There must be a running change in the mold - the openings on the head-side of the barrels are just too large to press fit them in for me...

Are the orange grips still usable in that configuration, or do they have to be switched back for weapon mode?
