Beast Wars G1 Grimlock
Posted: Mon Mar 03, 2014 5:49 pmToday I would like to present You my version of Beast Wars Grimlock. My base was BW Dinobot. I gave him brand new paintjob, inspired by G1 Brimlock colours
Beast Wars G1 Grimlock
Beast Mode:
Dino mode skin tone consists on several shades of silver - from very bright ones to pure black. The higher point it was, the brighter colour I applied. I have decided to replace gold parts from original paint scheme with golden stripe along whole Dino Body. I also applied a few layers of Wash to bring up more details.

And how does Grimlock look compared to his original self?
Grimlock is afraid of no one Poor Terrorsaur doesn't know it yet.
Me Grimlock no bozo! Me king!
Time to stretch some servos. Grimlock, Maximize!
To give Grimlock some distingtion from original Dinobot I decided to slightly change his transformation. Now golden chest is much more visible and dino head is stored closer to G1 way.
Time for some head close-up.
The purists will be glad to know, that Grimlock can still be transformed the way his instructions suggested.
Terrorsaur had no chance...
