Hey, thought I would share some recent pictures of mine with you guys, they were done by drawing the cyberverse toys I have with some modifications here and there. I started them in an attempt to get better drawing robots in general, and what better place to start then our own super robot lifeforms.

It has been fun though and I think it has helped me with perspectives a little bit, though symetry and propotions are bugging me.

Anyway here we go!

Well a small update. Just finished the pencils on my Abominus picture, going to digitally ink it now and colour on the PC. Going to take a little of getting use to as for the previous year I've been working with Markers and pencil colouring. I'll be sticking to the colours on the recent Cyberverse Terrorcons releases where possible. One thing you'll notice is it does vary from the toys and previous versions of the combiner.

This is because I decided that an straight up drawing of the toy, with the way that Cut Throat and Sinner Twin form the arms didn't work for me. Although I did keep the fact that Sinner Twin forms a sort of monstrous claw with it's two heads and front paws. That worked for me as a combiner of monsters. I also took inspiration from the IDW version of Monstructor and turned Hun-Grrs beast mode front legs around so he could use them as Abominus. I'm aware of how busy it looks, and it's something that I'll be taking into account for the next time I attempt to draw a combiner.

Anyway here's the pic.

Another update, Abominus is finally coming together. Done all the flat colouring, so all that's left is the shading and the background.

Just so it wasn't bare, for this pic I just threw something together last minute, so it's not representive of the final product.

Anyway, here's Abominus so far!
