I got out the old paints last night to do Predaprinces sig, but instead i painted a self portrait, its kinda quick i completed it in one sitting, but i like it, it has some lovely paint effects which really dont come across in the photo. Classic Starscream is included for size.

Love the suite :P
Nice very nice indeed , I like pics like that, realistik and not abstract, you are a artist and Picasso was no artist.

Ddue have u been to the Picasso Gallery?

The dude painted the below picture as a present for his sister on her first communion, its life size and he was i think 14 at the time! Being an artist and a photocopier are two different things. and being a photocopier is much easier-artists move past the real, if they are really good. Not a slag but i gotta stick up for my homees, u dig?!?

Oh and thanks! Its still a nice complement

No u got the right guy, he just moved past representational images. He figured since he could draw like a Renaissance Master as a child there was no point in continuing to work that way. He was one of the founders of Cubism and pretty much an all around genius. He deliberately tried to make pictures 2-D rather than ape reality, which is why u end up with people with both eyes on one side of their head. People have 2 eyes + paper is flat = draw both eyes on the flat face

That's pretty cool; I can't remember the last time I painted at that sort of scale. How long did it take, all told?

And I take it the mask's just out of shot? :P

The Mask, damn i loved that guy-All in all it took about 4 hours, as in i started at 8 and finished near to 12, but it wasn't totally constant work. I was watching Shaun of the dead for psrt of it, and then i went and got dinner. So maybe it is about 2 and a half to 3 hours hard work. It was fun.

hmm i am gonna try dig up some of my old paints to put here too, if u think this one is big just wait

Oh, yeah. The character was created by John Arcudi and Doug Mahnke for Dark Horse, and it's much darker than you'd expect if you only know him from the films...

I like both, the comic and cartoon versions are great, the movie is ok, and the sequel can rot in hell
