Hey there all my fellow Transformers-fans! (Geez, didn't that sound cheesy?)

Well, in this thread I will feature a lot of my own personal artwork (as I've noted that many others also have done, and who doesn't want to be just like everyone else?)

If you like any of my artwork feel free to comment on it, and if you REALLY like it you're welcome to commission a piece from me as well. (More info on this in my journal on my deviantart page: http://txs-1089.deviantart.com/)

I will begin uploading a backlog of older art before I proceed to my newer stuff just so you can witness the transformation (get it? because it's Transformers? Hehe... wow...) of my art through the years. Also, if you happen to see anything you might recognize from another Transformers-centric forum I usually go by the name "Laserbeak_Eject" on those sites.

As a lot of you I have been drawing for most of my life but somewhere along the way I stopped drawing Transformerss. Then one day I happened to find my old comic books at my dad's house and it all came back to me. And I started drawing Transformers once again!

So. without further ado, here's the first batch of my "old new" art.

Image
So the first real TF art I did when I started doing fanart again was (for some weird reason) Optimus Primal, I hadn't watched that much of the show but I remembered that this toy was AWESOME so I did it as a small homage to my younger self.

Image
Oh, and this was right about the time I started playing Fall of Cybertron for the fourth time.

Image
As I've always liked the more obscure and less pretty Transformers, the ones that no one else really likes I just had to draw Submarauder and his archnemesis (headcanon alert!) Waverider.
Image
I'm going to return to these guys one day for a comparison on the old and the new, but that's not today.

Well, hope you've enjoyed these oldies and look forward to more from me!

Best Wishes!

Okaay, so the first batch of art didn't result in much activity, hopefully my next post here will.

This is the second (and last) batch of "old new art", i.e. art done before 2015 began.

Image
Dinobot, he's just awesome isn't he?

Image
Metroplex heeds the call of the last Prime. He too is awesome.

Image
The Monsterbots, my favorite team of underused Autobots, here seen dishing out some damage to a bunch of 'Cons. This is part of a comic project that I'm working on. Thinking about going back and redoing this later on...

Image
The final piece of 2014 was this homage to the Transformers we lost during the year. You who read the comics know about what all the goop on the page is as well why the Lost Light is seen in the background.

As you can see over the course of these two posts I've evolved a lot as an artist and I just keep on going.

If you see anything you like I'm open for commissions, details about that can be found her: http://txs-1089.deviantart.com/journal/ ... -576573138

Best wishes!

So here, in no order what so ever is a few more current works of art from the first half of 2015. The year I really started doing comics (currently I'm working on three seperate three to four page stories that are all in different stages of completion. One is really, REALLY close, the others are being completed piece by piece as I find the time between my real life work and commissions.)

Image
Defensor, my favorite combiner. This was a commission I got started on and then never recieved payment for. So he's been in artistic limbo since then - stuck as an half-inked waist-up.

Image
A comic page I did where the script called for a G2 setting, so i thought it would be fun to draw it in a Yaniger-style. I was really happy with the result when it was done, looking back I'm not so sure anymore...

Image
Another page I did during spring of 2015, here we see the Stunticon Breakdown dropped to the bottom of the sea. It was a fun page to work on. Also, I got to draw a whale - how often does that happen?

Image
The finished page featuring the Monsterbots from the previous post. After this got done we decided to make it into a short comic + a prose story so we're currently working on that.

Image
What's this? An alternate ending to Maximum Dinobots? Yeah, kind of. It ties in to the short comic and prose I wrote about above. Monsterbots and Dinobots having a bit of a party.
(Nick Roche LOVED this when he saw it, btw, #fanboying)

Hope you like 'em!

Best Wishes!

Really Great stuff!
Love that cranky old Dinobot. So much character in that piece.
Metroplex and Defensor are pretty amazing too.

Thanks for sharing!

So, I drew Tarn, because he's awesome.

Now to slap some colors on this bad boy!
