This artwork was commissioned by Hockeywitch from DeviantART.

I'd never even heard of RWBY before taking on this commission. Now I'm looking forward to some downtime so I can check it out on Netflix. I hear it's pretty cool.

This was a really fun commission to work on. Hockeywitch was livestreaming with me and added her own personal suggestions and flavor to the image, which I think made things turn out even better. It's cooler when the commissioner can request corrections on the fly and both of you work together to nail it. So yeah, great experience that I won't forget.

Anywho, I hope you guys like the piece. As always, comments and feedback are welcome!

I always liked Windblade's design and wondered if/when I'd ever get to draw her, so this commission was the chance.

You'll find my version slightly different from the comic book version; I took my inspiration from a couple of different toy versions I found online, as well as the comic.

Pencils done traditionally, inks and colors in Clip Studio Paint EX.
