Personally, I think it looks better taller. More G1-ish (I don't mean G1 Megs, it just seems like it could fit in with G1 better).
I can see this being some kind of Quintesson construct.

Did you draw this on papar, and scan it into your computer to color?

If so, how do you get the solid black lines without having to retrace every single one with the mouse? I've tried scanning in B&W, but it still leaves a tiny grey aura that look horrible when it's colored...

Are your adjusting the contrast after you've scanned? Multiply will also 'darken' lines, etc.

In any event, that looks all kinds of cool, Jazz. I was actually wondering if you were still around here. :D

Getting rid of the gray is simple: erase the pencil lines. Or use a blue pencil. Make sure you got your scanner set to Black and not Color also.
