Early WIP of WW Jetfire in 3D

This is actually going to be a low-poly game model, but it should look pretty durn good by the time I'm done with it:

Modelled in 3D Studio Max, mapped in UVLayout and UVMapper, soon to be textured in Photoshop and animated in 3D Studio Max. :D

works for me, will look great when posed and animated, not sure about his head shape though, no chin!

There's a chin on my Titanium WW Jetfire, so I modelled one on the mesh.

And a quick turnaround of the skinned pack... note that I still haven''t finished skinning the 'underside' of the center of the pack...

no you misundetrstood, i meant that your mesh doesnt have a chin! as in... there should be a gap inbetween the bottom of his chin and the body?

You mean NECK, then. And, err, there isn't a neck on my Titanium WW Jetfire...

EDIT: A quick GI preview of the current state of the skin. Still gotta finish the shoulders, and then do the arms and legs. Then it'll be rigging and animation time.

Next comes his rifle, then rigging, then animation (easier than it sounds, I already have a preset 'Giant Robot' animation set that I only have to change the Fly animations into him transforming), then exporting into the game.

And he's done. Here's a shot from the model viewer, showing how it would look in game, along with his jet mode - he automatically transforms for flight! :D

Makes me wish I knew how to do mapping. Looks quite nice Valandar. You putting this in City of Heroes or something like that?

No one can add any custom content to a MMORPG with the exception of Second life (and yes, I've seen actually transforming "costumes" in Second Life).

It's going into the game Freedom Force, and yes, it does transform for the flight animations. :D

Ah Freedom Force. That was the one I was thinking of. Dunno why I put City of Heroes. Well they are sorta alike I guess.
