Last week I added some detailing to my Movie Leader Optimus Prime and Voyagers Ratchet & Ironhide; today it was Movie Voyager Starscream's turn. After some research I found the correct colors and pattern for the F-22 Raptor that is Starscream's alt mode. I was lucky enough to have 2 of the 3 paints in my hobby supply box I use for scale modeling. I substituted the 3rd shade of gray with a very close match.

After remembering how to transform Starscream back to jet mode, the work began. The upper surface camouflage pattern isn't hard to duplicate and looks great; the shades of gray blend together perfectly. The underside of the jet is a bit more challenging because of the legs, arms, and the sections that becomes his back in robot mode.

I removed the head so I wouldn't get any paint on it when detailing the back of the jet. Take the screw out that holds the head in place. Once the screw is removed the head splits into the front, back, and amber light piping. The head was repainted to make it movie accurate also.

Tonight I've transformed it back into robot mode and it looks amazing. The grays make this figure look like the promotional artwork I've seen. Now I just need to finish painting the areas that are hidden in jet mode and add some detailing.

That's all for tonight, I'll post some pictures when my project is done.
