Daisycutter
|ˈdāzē-ˈkətər|
noun informal
1. A daisy cutter is a type of fuse designed to detonate a bomb at or above ground level.

2. An immensely powerful aerial bomb that derives its destructive power from the mixture of ammonium nitrate and aluminum powder with air.

3. Female Autobot currently among elite security division in the waste city of Tarn on the planet Cybertron...

"Some bots ask me ‘why the transfer?’ Why would Daisycutter gladly swap the lush green and peace surrounding Earth Base 5 for the harsh brutality of Cybertron’s Tarn City?
“Daisy..” they say, “..you have a comfortable life. Head of security on one of the finest Earth Bases we have.. respected by your peers and the bot most likely to receive a promotion to base commander in a few cycle’s time..besides, why would a girl want to risk her life on security detail in Tarn??”
That’s when my audio processors stop receiving. “A girl” Ever since the very human notion of ‘female’ worked it’s way into our culture I have noticed a change in those surrounding me. The human’s call it ‘sexism’..and while I don’t think it has quite escalated to those levels, I have noticed my comrades worrying more for my safety and deeming certain tasks too rough for me. I mean it’s flattering really..but the sooner they realise that I’m no different than them the better.
I have no interest in the desk jobs..the clerical jobs in the hall of records…or Primus forbid..a medic’s job! Don’t get me wrong, I’m pretty high maintenance. Since I chose my earthen mode as one of those Bugatti Concept cars I’ve definitely had a lot of envious eyes on my chassis. So much that I wouldn’t conceive of changing back to my mundane old Cybertronian mode. But although I like to look good, I’m happiest among the dirt and the grime..among the lowlife and scum. Places where I know my skills can make a difference. Give me a pulse rifle and overwhelming odds and I’m a happy….girl.
