DIGI-COMIX - Action Figure Comics - Energon Revamp

In making my Energon toy comics, I am only using the figures I own. So, that means my stories do not include Megatron. Also, there are a few points I am considering in reimaging Energon a bit:

1. What if Megatron remained in his comatosed state until the implosion of Unicron and Megatron's cosmic release at the beginning of TF: Cybertron?

2. Isn't it strange that the 'Bots hide from humans in Armada, partner with them in Energon, then hide from them again in Cybertron? Why not hide during Energon as well?

3. Who else thinks that Kicker is the most annoying TF character ever?

So, with those points in mind, here's my take on Energon:

Ten years have passed since the Transformers' victory over Unicron. Having Megatron consumed by Unicron, the remaining Decepticons have formed an uneasy alliance with the Autobots. Upon learning of a new threat to Earth and it's energon, Optimus Prime makes preparations for the Autobots' return to Earth. Operating from a cloaked orbital station, the Autobots employ Omnicons to search for, and mine, raw energon. Only the Omnicons are able to handle raw energon without causing harm to themselves. The Autobots' new enemy is Alpha Q, a three-faced creature intent on ressurrecting Unicron! Alpha Q has sent his minions, the Terrorcons, to steal Earth's energon. To help in this devious plan, Alpha Q has gathered together the disbanded Decepticons with a new leader, Scorponok! To battle this new menace, the Autobots have gained new abilities including Powerlinking with one another using the Spark of Combination granted by Primus.

That's pretty much it. I hope everyone likes this revamp.

That's because Galaxy Force was a seperate continuity to Micron Legend and Superlink and it was only when they were dubbed into English that they were bundled together as a trilogy. The evolution of Autobot/human relations between the end of Armada and the start of Energon actually makes a lot of sense, it's only having Cybertron gaffer taped to the end that makes a mess of that particular story element.

In general I take it that you're working with the cartoons as your primary source of reference. Have you read any of the Dreamwave Armada/Energon output? Different take to what we got with the shows, right down to Minicons being able to communicate properly and having personalities( ). Might be a good jumping on point for a fan comic since the Energon comic came to an early end when DW went under. Megatron was just asay introduced and about to kick the whole thing into a higher gear, the Dinobots, Omega Supreme and the gestalts were just a few issues away from being introduced and there were various plot points going on with Alpha Q, a rouge Cybertronian senator, Starscream's ghost and we hadn't seen anything of Unicron's Horsemen for a few issues (reformatted versions of Armada Airrazor, Cheetor, Rhinox and Terrorsaur, tre coolio). With all that going on and not coming to any sort of conclusion some sort of continuation to that would be something that I'd love to see done at some stage. Just a thought.

Yes, I am working from the US cartoon continuity (such as it is). I have all the Armada comics, but only a couple of the first Energon titles including the Wal-Mart exclusive issue. In my stories, it just seems to fit nicely to keep Megs in a coma during Energon. After all, when he reappears in Cybertron, he's harboring armor of Unicron. He only seems to gain an upgraded bod in Energon. Plus, as I stated before, I never bothered to buy the figure. Also, I like the idea of keeping Alpha Q evil throughout and giving the 'Cons a new leader in Scorponok. When Hasbro still had Energon on the TF site, I copied the bios and changed them (for my personal use) to reflect the above mentioned.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post and hope these ideas all cool. They are to me.
