Time to give credit where credit is due. This is the original thread with these designs. I just added a touch here and there.

Awesome. I like it

I orginally used Big Convoy as a template to make my character. Optimus Primacron turns into a Silverback gorilla/Whooly Mamoth combination Fuzor ( picture a gorilla with a mamoth head and he's got 4 spiked tusks ).

And I like how you got his body builder proportions done good. :o

And Cherrybomb's looking good. :D Is that a weapon on her right forearm in the second picture? :-?

Yeah, I was basing her transformation on Alternator/Binaltech tracks and he has these cannons that slide outta his fore arms.

Cherrybomb and Optimus Primacron: The Embrace, Final pose and inked.

This was hard 'cause I've never drawn any to characters robot or human holding each other before.

Thanks a bunch, Charge! ;)^

And I'm glad you were challenged, I think this was a good excercise in seeing what you could make, having never tried before. B-) :PACMAN: :GHOST:

Cool! I'm all for it. I welcome any colorist to color my lines. I'd try to learn and do more of my own but my free time is limited. I'll stick to lines for now.

Cool, go for it.

If anyone was wondering, their "official" colors are:

Optimus Primacron is pretty much like Black Big Convoy, colorwise.....or Darth Vader's colors pretty much.

Cherrybomb is red and black with trimings of silver on the detailed parts. ( though gold/bronze might be an interesting switch :-? )

I got a 1985 Nissan 300zx, primed black. Now what I wanna do, is have my gf draw some Transformers on it with a pencil, and I will touch up the colors with airbrush and kewl colors. But I like that drawing of ose two. Good job.

as promised, heres the finished product! charger your becoming one of my fave artists~ somethings here and there in your works arent even or smooth, but the amount of detail you put in, and the way you draw it out makes everything so fluid~ like it all works in unison~

i just tossed a generic gradiant background, i wanted to put them in a nice scenic backdrop, but i dont have time to draw one out, and all my pre fabricated ones are saved on a disc.....which is in storage

AWW Shucks! Flattery will get you everwhere. Yeah, not the best inker. I need a pen that makes thinner neater lines I think, and a little more patience. And I know nuthin about digital inking.

digital inking is fine, but i prefer hand inking still. and just digitaly fixing any major skrew ups

if you have a hobby lobby anywere nearby, they got lots of good pens in verying thicknesses. but they aint cheap.

i used to use a good ole bic ball point, and a berol prismacolor marker lol

actualy i used to color everything with berol prisma color.
