So what tools and programs did you use to make the animation?

Here are the general tools I use for stop-motion animation:
- Digital Camera (you can also use a regular camera - it just means that you'll need a scanner to scan all the pics you shoot)
- Tripod
- Subjects - TF's, action figures, whatever..
- Windows Movie Maker (computer program)
Stop-motion animation is bascially a slideshow. A really fast-paced slideshow.
You take a picture of the posed subject.
Then repose the subject.
Take picture of reposed subject.
Repeat.
Then through Windows Movie Maker, I dump all the pictures in sequential order into a timeline. I shorten the timing on all the frames/shots/pics - this makes the pictures flash quickly on the screen - making it look like the subject is "moving".
Save the project as a movie and "wala" - a stop-motion animation.
Heh.. I don't know if that made any sense..
You have to get yourself familiar with Windows Movie Maker - which is a easy program to use - very simple and sraight-forward.
Try it yourself. Post it here.
And have fun with it..!
