Yo.

Many of you don't know this, but Burnout was originally created to be a minibot like Bumblebee and Cliffjumper. But back in 2002 or 2003, whenever I first drew her, my drawing sucked so I wasn't able to give the minibot look effectively. After salvaging some old art from my website, I thought I'd give her a redo in her original form but in the way she was initially intended to be.

This was a lot of fun trying to keep her in the look of the original. I guess I tried to imagine what I was thinking back then and go from there. Rather than just a re-imagining, I tried to keep it very close to the that old campy look she had.

***Many of you will notice the lack of any visible kibble or car parts in her robot mode. This is because she was originally inspired from the G1 animation look, where little parts could be seen on some of the minibots.***

C and C welcome as always. I've also included a reference image of the original picture I did of her for comparison. Enjoy!

Definately nice work. The thighs are still a little too chunky, but other than that, very well done. It would be interesting to actually see an actual mini-bot model of this character built. The best pic of her, IMO, is the one at the bottom of your post.

It's quite interesting to see how different one's style has changed over the years..

The new drawing builds on what you've done before - and at the same time it shows that you have more understanding of your style.
