Preview of... TF Legions!

I've had an idea kicking around my head... and literally hundreds of old TF game meshes kicking around my hard drive in 3DS Max format... and the two things kicked an idea into being at the same time.

IMAGINE:

The year is 1998. There are far more Transformers out there than we think, and many have been to Earth, and given a new alt mode. One such group, the 3rd Autobot Division as led by Centurion, is in transit between Cybertron and an outlying region of the milky Way, when its transport is shot down over an uncharted world. Only 23 survive the impact, and struggle to find a way back to their homeworld - pursued all the while by Doomgiver, commander of the Death Legion, a notorious force of Decepticons!

Among the troops the Death Legion has in their employ are a horde of Insecticlones. Easy to repair and even more numerous than the Seekers of the Legion, they swarm through space to keep the Decepticon forces fully charged with energon!

I simply hue-shifted the original skins I had done for the insecticons for these, by the way.

Aaaand Doomgiver... War Within Soundwave recolored in bronze and silver!

I might end up changing his weaponry so that he has twin shoulder cannons instead of a single shoulder missile pod.

I should note now that I've finished recoloring the meshes for the Autobots, but still have to recolor most of the Decepticons, including generic Seekers, and a secret weapon of the Deceps - the Prime Clone Drones!

Well, I have to get some of the sets done, first, plus more Decepticons. Right now all of the Autobots are done, but Doomgiver and the Insecticlones are the only Deceps finished (durn you, busy work schedule!).

However, once they ARE done, it'll be time to start the actual comic! It'll be set up in "comic book" style pages, and kept on my personal site as JPG's. If I knew how to set it up as an "actual" webcomic, I'd do that, but until then...
