This is the beginning of a project I started over at DM.Net to allow the fans to design their own Soundwave. The alt mode was decided by the fans in a poll.

This is an ongoing project and these designs are mostly WIP.

Of your OWN SW head designs, I really like #s 5 and 8. #1 is to "Prime - like" for me.

And awesome work. Have you figured out his full transform scheme yet?

And yes, for each of the designs I have worked out a rough transformation scheme. The full scheme won't be finalised until the full-body design is locked down. That's still being worked on.[/i]

I really like V1, probably because I see a similarity between it and Machine Wars Soundwave. (Yeah yeah Stalker mold fanboy needs to shut up)

head 5 rocks my socks, I'd love to see it as a figure or something tangible like that...

All of these are awsome. I like the first one the best cause I think I like the large shoulders and the chest. Ravage as the tire just looks cool as anything.

gimme V3 with #6 face. But I'm not big on him being a hummer or w/e. Don't we have enough land vehicle transformations? Yeah I know I know, cassette player is outdated but you know?

I concur.

Though I think that Ravage may wind up looking too much like a ferret if the rubber tread isn't kept in check. Jaguar's are smooth in form... not all gnarly and textured.

Maybe Soundwave can be an MP3 player and he can eject his MP3 minions... oh... right, forgot.

ive seen this all a few times before, but only just realised.. that last ravage design, the one with all the treads showing, looks like a pangolin (small animal similar to an ant-eater that can curl up in a ball):

ok I'm back. these are awesome. I like V1 with the split chest. I like V3 becuase he's kind of shockwave-ish. with your skills, what ever you flesh out into a final product is gonna rule.

i'm working on my own movie designs now, but for original characters (they should be up soon)

you guys are awesome at this!

version 3 is my fave and i like head number 5. I think those would go together well!

Lets hope we see more designs like this in the sequels as these designs just worjk perfectly. They are right on the bounderies of what is acceptable and what isnt, whilst keeping many g1 features for the fans but adding enough new stuff for normal movie goers.
