Bumblebee's Flight lesson

Bumblebee immediatly began to think to himself that ambushing Thundercracker in mid air might not be the best plan of action. At the time, seeing the seeker at such a low altitude, Bumblebee was sure leaping off the parking garage onto an unsuspecting Thundercracker's back would drive him toward the ground. As fate would have it, the Decepticons powerful afterburners kicked in and the jet quickly began to gain altitude, and Bumblebee found himself an unwilling passenger on a flight to an uncertain future....

Not to happy with Bumblebee's look here. This is the first page of a series of action comic book pages i'm doing.

I like your lines, but BB's legs don't look right. if a person bent that way he'd have to have a broken angle. body mechanics aren't easy

I'm in total agreement with you. I dont want to draw them just standing around, though. I'm just gonna keep at it till I get it right.

Friendly reminder, some kind of model(like the ones i recomened before) would be a huge help to you, unless you can pay for a real model to pose... :)

*Keeping in mind that I can't draw worth squat*

The top back fins are misaligned to the rockets. The fins are angling away from us and the rockets are angling toward us. BB's neck is way too long unless you did that on purpose for some modernizing look or something.

The Decepticon insignia needs some work.

Other than that, (and I guess what Kalon already said about BB's legs) this scene looks really good and I enjoy the premise.

I don't normally like to nitpick (Because I know I can't do better), but the street and the top of that building aren't quite aligned, and it kind of throws the whole picture off.

Thanks for the feedback. I think I have to stop charging into my art and slow down till it looks right. I'm just impatient to finish stuff. Maybe I'll post the refined pencils and have you proof read them so to speak before I lay down my ink.

It is difficult and I know the urge and desire to leap in head first. Hell I do it. What I would recommend is do your lines and step away for it for about 24 hours then look at it again. Any errors or ommissions will jump out at you then.

Your style reminds me of Geoff Darrow's work, just not as detailed. I like it,good stuff. Have you ever seen his art? If not you will like it. Check it out

Hell ya. I got Hardboiled when it first came out! Huge influence on me. Could you imagine him doing the transformers.
Hmmm...idea forming. :-?
