Hi everyone. I wanted to share renders my finished HD Classics Megatron model. Started back in September 2006, but was close to done for over a year now. He's built to be able to transform. This color scheme is based off the Classics version originally, but with the purple changed to black. Since I planned it, the Henkei version came out, so I used that to add extra color detailings. This Megatron model goes with my HD Optimus Prime model, which you can see renders of at the following link:

Also, check out the Fusion Cannon transformation here:

I've done a bunch of renders to show off all the detailing, but they are too large for the forums here. There is a preview render below, the rest of the renders can be found at the following link:

The backs of Prime's hands are Autobot symbols!
Looks like I've found a new wallpaper :) If that's alright....

Thanks for your comments everyone. :)

@zero-kaiser
Not sure how long really. I started back in September 2006, and had most of it done by March 2007, while also having a full time job. If I had to remodel it from scratch, I could get it done within a month easily.

@Lorekeeper
Feel free to use them as wallpapers, I won't mind. Its actually cool to know people will use them. :D

For prime, i need to cheat a little to have him transform, since I had most of him done before the toy was release in retail. So I didn't have all the details. Basically, its just moving limbs to their correct spot, where they should only be rotating. But its nothing people would notice, except myself. :)

And yeah, I did the City Commander animation. Fans have shown more appreciation for it than Fansproject themselves did, as they almost didn't even put it on their website.

How could they not have put that on their site?! lol.. for a while I thought someone at FansProjects had made that video :P lol

I've had a quick play around with CAD (or AutoCAD which ever its called) and I know what you mean about cheating here and there :P I dont see it myself, I still think those renders are fantastic!!

Do you have any others planned in the near future?

The City Commander work I did is "official", as I was commissioned by them. But due to compensation, they don't really have the rights to the model or video(if they wanted to sell it or something).

My next project is Classics Rodimus. I'm shooting for a realistic 20 something foot robot look for him. He'll have more realistic detailing, with a dash of the movie style thrown in. You can take a look at the rough car mode concept here:

Awesome stuff, I'll be looking forward to seeing your Rodimus render! :) Will you be doing anything for the Protector upgrade when it eventually comes out? I'm just hoping I'm in a job with enough spare income to afford it by then!!

By the way.. I hope you dont mind Venksta but I've added you to my DeviantWatch over on DeviantART :)

I don't know if I'll be doing anything for Protector. Its up to FP to decide if they want to commission me. And no problem with the DevWatch. I'm happy to see people add me to it. So thanks! :D

:shock: That is so AWESOME! I watched that City Commander video on Youtube and it was so cool. It must have taken a while for you to do all that, but I'm sure it was worth it. Awesome job. :grin:
