The Energon Pub

These are the Velocicons. The one's I've done so far. They're in the custom figure forum under the Heavy Metal War forums as well. Plus I might throw in my Animated version of Brawl.

The Leader of the Velocicons is Velocitron.

Block. The somewhat dim-witted but rock solid member of the team.

Flame-Wind. The Dodgy little pest.

Aggressor. The savage beast of the group.

Draft. The highly skilled, yet deceitful warrior.

X-Ray. The Medic without mercy.

Quickdraw. The fiery second-in-command.

Shell-Shock. The Weapons Master.

I'm really liking these!
Is it just me or is there some BW Megatron influence in the last one, shell-shock?
One thing I noticed though is they're all quite short, I don't know if it's just the way they've scanned in or if it's your style, but you may want to try making them a little taller :3
Other than that there really awesome! I especially love Agressor, I'm a little inspired to make an animated BW Jawbreaker now, he'd look quite similar.

I really like your art style. And your color choices! Hope you don't take it wrong (I am a girl) but I think they're really cute! I particularly like Flamewind.

Thanks. The colors are actually more vibrant in person. As for the cuteness... don't let them deceive you, they are ill tempered. You should see what happened to the last person that tried to feed Aggressor in his lion mode. Not a pretty scene.

I like the fact you can pull off animated style; did you take a picture of these or scan them?

The only criticism I have (please take it constructively) is that slight cant (lean) forward most of them have. it could just be the scanner, though.

I liked a lot of these; it's nice to see others draw their HMW charas.

The lean forward is my doing. Some of the shortness is my scanner. I kind of suck with Photoshop when it comes to coloring, so I marker rendered them. I just don't have the patience with Photoshop. Thanks for the feedback.

I like the p-shop markerwork; I just can't mentally think up how a TFA-style chara should look.

All the characters make sense and I realize that they're supposed to have a slight cant forward but like i said, just a smidge too much.

Otherwise, looks AWESOME

You've certainly captured the TFA style with the chins and little tiny mouths. It must have taken ages to come up with these so how about putting them to more use and giving us a battle scene with these guys? That'd be cool.

I'll get them all in a group shot. Battle scene could be something to think about.
These will take me typically about 20 minutes to draw and an hour to color. So not really too long. I'll probably end up doing a few while the games are on tomorrow. Character bios come pretty easy for me. I started rewriting all of them in the HMW pages. New story.
