I'm fairly proud of the way Primus turned out, but the basic concept behind Unicron still intrigues me.

My basic idea with Primus was to streamline the design from Cybertron, because the earth looks like a smooth round ball from space, but close up its full of numerous different surfaces. I keep telling my self you don't need legs in space, but I can't find myself to draw space mermaid bodies.

With Unicron I decided to go for the gusto. Completely drastic alteration to emphasize the fact that he's an evil son of a gun. I tried sticking to my "no legs in space" mantra that I set up, but I'm thinking of redesigning him Anyone who wants to try their hand at coloring either of these two, be my guest.

Loving that Unicron redesign.

Your Primus has a BM Primal thing going on. Pretty good.

I like the abstract design for Unicron and it looks great, but it seems like there is just something missing.

I was thinking of changing his lower body to a more snake-like form and less tentaclely.

Keep the four more noticeable tentacles (the two in front and two at back/sides) get rid of the rest of them and add a long snake tail coming out from under the center that is 2-3 times longer than the tentacles (perhaps have it grasping around that planet)

The way is see movie Unicron:
A giant, but not planet-sized, scary Transformer. Close to Movie Megatron, but more "Dragon-Like". Whit long claw, huge snake-like tail. Unicron-ish horn. Long articulated spike coming out of is back, similar to his "wing". Glowing red yes and Orange Coloration.

His alternate mode would be an alien ship, but ovale/spherical, whit a mouth in the front. And a ring-thing in the back. Long spike on the side and the "Tail" retracted under it.
Id say, 50ft tall!

I for one am dreading them putting Unicron in the movie continuity but if he looks like that I would gladly change my opinion.

Its weird, but i give you 10/10 for orginality! I kinda like it.

I can imagine Unicron wrapping himself around the planet using those spikes on his front and his arms, giving it a bearhug. As he peels himself away, there is nothing but a broken core of a dead world.
