STATS At 11+ And Beyond - The Overdue Report

Hi All,

This is something I left in the back burner for awhile, but with work and familial commitments, I finally have time to put down what I've noticed in this post.

With a special thanks to Burn for allowing this experiment.

THE SUPER MEGATRON REPORT

1. Any stats over the current allowed "10" has no visible impact on the overall performance of the character in the missions. My amped up character was still being beat by characters who has a courage stat of 8 (my guy had a courage stat of 13).

2. There is no extra payout in neither energon nor experience after the mission. I was still getting payout that is currently set for a level 11 character.

3. You do not move faster, have better initiation, better defense, and better offense on any level at all. The character is basically maxed out at the level 10 stats and all stats beyond that is superfluous. I suspect this is because of the programming's parameters and how it has set limits to gains and operations in the game.

4. It seems like you are attacked more often when your rank is set at 11, but then again, it may be because of my persecution complex.

5. No new selections in weapon or armor.

That's it.


Over stats may look pretty, but it doesn't do squat to improve your character and your character doesn't become Primus.

Can you list what the actual stats/tactics you had were?

Some are known to be much more useful than others, that might have made a difference.

No problem. Here they are:

Strength - 13
Intelligence - 10
Speed - 13
Endurance - 12
Rank - 10
Courage - 15
Firepower - 10
Skill - 10

Strafe - 12
Repair -12

Interesting spread. I'd seen stats beyond 10 from the mini-con/robot mode days but not compared to other maxed out bots.

We never thought the courage boost mini-con was worth the effort, turns out we were probably right.

I had to experiment what my maximum stats configuration could be - I know stats like rank, firepower, and skill is irrelevant past 10 (due to what was available set by the admins), so that leaves strength, intelligence, speed, endurance, and courage. I set strength to 13 and endurance to 12, then place the appropriate amount of armor on my character - that did squat. Set intelligence to 12 and that didn't do anything to make the character more proficient or more frequent in repairs. Speed and Courage has no noticeable improvement when its stats were set past 10, either.

I thought you had changed the stats so courage was the only one above 10 b/c when you had your character truly maxed he was level 13 so you couldn't join any missions.

I tried that, too. I don't know if it was a glitch or not, but sometimes I DO get into mission even though my stats would had put me into level 12 or 13 (see the stats I posted). It may be that after a certain level/cap, the HMW code didn't specific any restrictions as to who can join (the missions I played and managed to get in are the levels 1 to 11 missions, interestingly enough).
