Heh. Yeah, you should see how many missions I had with <20,000 xps before I got to that point. It makes you want to rip your hair out.

Oh I know. I've gotten a string of those crappy missions before. Repair helps a lot though, since it turns your high level back up into generators too.

About 25 mil to go. Things slowed down a bit because I was busy with building stuff at home.

Old Man Memory 8. I almost didn't play HMW the first time around. The launch was plagued by delays and server problems back in the early 2000s. I can't remember what happened or why it happened, but it had a very Ultima feeling to the whole experience. I was also playing Everquest like crazy, so HMW was a good bonus while I was waiting for other to come to go on raids.

Looks like the real countdown is beginning now. As of right now it looks like it'll be just before the end of the month, I'm guessing July 29th. I just hope to be a part of the mission that puts you over 1 Billion!

I'm fairly sure you'll be an integral part of that push, bro. I haven't been playing too much between June 28 and July 6 because I was away for a work and had limited internet access. At the rate I was going, I could had racked up close to 15 million XPs during that time. I'm predicting sometime between July 19 and 22 is when I will reach the 1 billion XP mark. As of now, I'm a bit over 24 million XPs to reaching that point.

Had about 14 million XPs left, but now it's about 7 million XPs to go. This will be my third last non-reply post for the HMW forum. It's strange how a few months ago I decided to quit for good and seems so far away, but now, it seems unreal that I'm so close to having 1,000,000,000 XPs and all it took was a little over 4 years.

Looks like it'll be closer to your date. I'm hoping Monday or Tuesday of next week since activity is a little lower on the weekends. I'm hoping Greeny can sneak past Megatron for 8th by then so I can get 1 last pass while you are still active.

With 9 million+ XPs to go, you might be able to sneak past Megatron sooner than you think.

Penultimate non-replying post - with about 5 million XPs to go, I'm looking at around either this Sunday or Monday to reaching my 1 billionth XP. I can't believe it's been that quick and this soon.

Old Man Memory 10 (last one). People often ask me at work what HMW is. Back in the mid 2000s, they thought it was like Colossal Cave Adventure where there is no graphics and just all text, or if it is D&D online. I really didn't know which genre you would put HMW under. When you look at the game for what it is, the strategic element is so minute; it's more like how well you can upgrade your character and put them in a specific mission to gain the most XP. That's it. In more ways than one, it's a lot like risk. But the from time to time, you have players like Prowl Pants (he makes awesome custom Actionmasters) and Burn who makes his own TFs based on his characters in HMW. In that respect, it's a lot like D&D.

Yeah, its fun to tinker with those aspects. When I first started playing the RPG years ago, I just did that. Then when I came back in 2010, I started doing both the RPG and HMW, jut for giggles, but I kept them separate. Now about half of my HMW team are also in the RPG, so for me that's been my little way of bringing my HMW team more to life. I don't have an actual figure to hold, but I have their personalities strongly in my head that I can dabble with on one of seibertron's other creative outlets.

Well less than 1.5 million to go now, looks like it'll likely be sometime today. It's been a fun ride, but best of luck to you focusing on the more important things in life!

could this be the mission? 1.2 million still needed, so unlikely, but this setup could lead to strong scores...I suspect Democracy will be on to the final million after this one.

I had 1.3 million XP missions before, but for some reason in the last 2 weeks (with the exception of 1 or 2 missions), my payout's been in the pooper.
