I'm new! how do I play this game?

First thing's first - make a transformer. That costs 500 energon. Choose an alternate mode for it, name it, and lick on the 'missions' heading. It'll then give you a range of missions you can enter. Choose one where both sides seem to have even numbers or close to it, and enter it. Let the timer reach 0, and watch the results. Keep doing that until you get 1000 experience, and you can upgrade one of your stats. I'd recommend Speed first.

I have went to the missions and joined 1, but I never went in the battle...

This thread has a lot of jelpful advice that you can use to get started.

Did you actually click Join Missions at the bottom of the Mission List or did you just click on which TF you wanted to put in?

Though bear in mind that the game's going to be rebooted in a few weeks, so any progress you make will be negated. On the other hand, so will all the players currently at Level 10 and up, so you'll be on an even field!
The next couple of weeks can be good practice for when the new version kicks in (even though we're not sure how much is changing).

im in a battle but nothing is happening! all I see is a list of people who are in a battle!!!!! I dont have a clue what I am doing!!!!

You're not doing anything wrong. This is the part where the Random Number Generator figures out what happens based on the bats/cons in the missions and their configs. Then when the timer has counted down, you'll see what's happened

All you really have to do is put them in the missions and pray the RNG likes you today

you don't directly control your minions in battle, they fend for themselves, you just assighn them to fights. when they fight they get xp with xp you upgrade them, which affects the frequency, type, and strength of attacks they do.

it's fairly random at low levels as everybody's fairly homogenous in setups; though later you can become a hulking unarmed brute, or a speedfreak who dances round his enemies, or a strafer rapist who blasts his enemies away, or a medic. or combinations.

It's primarily for tatics. Bigger alts(tanks, trucks) will have ram. Cars usually have avoid. Aircraft avoid and strafe. And emergency vehicles repair.

alt mode determines what tactics are available to your TF.

OHH I thought that this game was like, fighting on the computer controled by you, and the alt button transformed you. now i get it

Different alts have different tactics.
