Why do all in-game pages require you to be logged in?

Can anyone give me a good reason why pages like arena and mission log pages, character pages, high scores, etc require you to login and are not publicly viewable? I understand pages like the pages that are specific to your account, but it seems like the pages that are able to be viewed by all players should be publicly viewable and should not require you to be logged in to view.

In mission logs, the titles and descriptions are faction specific, the decepticons see one title and the autobots another.

IIRC, you set that up ages ago.

You got sent a DCMA (or whatever copyright claims were called back then) over a character name from some blogger or something, so you changed it all to be log-in only and the unwashed masses couldn't see and try and claim they owned team/character names.

Edit: Totally agree that as long as we can manage the above, making logs/high scores publicly viewable would be a great step in publicising the game again.

Not to sidetrack things a bit but once you get the other websites up, will someone be able to log into one site and be logged into each site. What I am thinking is like how proboards has theirs set up.
