I'm sorry if this has been already discussed.

So I went to go donate some Energon to my friend TheTouch, but I noticed that his name wasn't on the list. Not only that, but I'm on the list under the name of '83457W422102,' my old identity.

I don't really care about my own name being wrong, but I'd really like to help my friend out!

It's a database thing. You switch your name on the forums and for some reason it doesn't carry over to HMW. You just need to track the player down using his ID number, and donate to him that way. It takes some time, but the result's the same.

Where am I supposed to enter the ID number? The usernames are to be selected from a pulldown.

if that doesnt work, maybe you have to hunt them down via logs or

Thanks, crazyfists, but that's not exactly what I meant. I understand HOW to get their user ID, I just don't know where to ENTER it to make the donation, since the donations box features only a pulldown menu.

im sorry i should have made myself more clear.

you cant. thats not what i said or meant or what windy said or meant. she said/meant match up the id #s. that way you can get their name and select it from the pull down menu.

what this means is you have to track down the player via their id number. that way you can get their name and select them. there is no way to donate via id number, but that might something to look into as an alternative.

I guess I'm more of an idiot than I thought. I found my friend's page and number but this doesn't change anything. He's still not on the list. Unless if you can't donate to someone if they're from another faction.
