They have started implementing robot modes in HMW. Right now they are only protoforms, but I say soon we will have actual robot modes.

Huh? Robots modes have been in the game since the beginning.

There's now a section underneath your character's Tech Specs called "Robot Mode". Nothing's selectable just yet, all that's there is "Protoform Robot Mode" for the time being.

It would be nice if we got 4 or so botmodes made available for "testing purposes".

Oh it's so nice to see a member of the support staff not knowing what's going on.

I'm with stormwolf. we should be allowed some way to test the robot modes and be ready for HMW2 and whatever is coming next.

It'll prolly be here in due time...

This keeps getting more and more interesting...so, I gotta wonder:

a) Will this just be a 'gimmick' initially, where the robot mode is just for visual fun?
b) ...or will this give us DIFFERENT tactics and thus allowing for some very interesting and creative combo's of alt mode and robot mode.

Nope for right now just option a "Oooo look at the pretty colors"

Great idea though!

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing bot images get tied to something down the line, though precisely what yet, I don't know.

I think so too. At least a face close up.
