Hello, and sorry, it's just part of the initiation ceramony. avoid the 0-3 and 1-3s for a while, and you won't have to worry about too much kicking about. Least from me.

the thing about how americans change the spelling with total disregard to etymology? like how pedophile has absolutely nothing to do with children?
paedophile is ancient greek for child lover, ped is latin for foot(as in centipede), so the corruption of paedophile to pedophile actually changes it's meaning from child lover to foot lover and makes it half latin half greek, something you really shouldn't mix

Which is why the actual plural for words ending in -pus is -podes. Like octopodes or platypodes.
