Memories of the early days...

I was doing a backup of some old documents from an old PC I'm getting rid of, and I came across some old bios I had written from old chars back in 2004. I just thought I'd share.
Exhaust Pipe
Function: Warrior
“DIE DECEPTICONS!!!! No wait… DIE AUTOBOTS!!!”
Profile: He has the anger management of a deranged baboon, and he has a loaded gun. He should have been deactivated long ago, but the Decepticons realized that Exhaust Pipe is a necessary evil in the war against good. He’s so unstable, that the mention of his name will send him on a killing spree. He’s usually kept in stasis and transported to the battlefield, and only when Autobots are seen is he released. He charges into the fray, guns blasting, yelling battle cries at the top of his voice module. After the fight is over, he’s restrained and put into stasis again. Half the time he’s shooting at autobots, the other half he shoots at anything that moves and stuff that doesn’t move just so he can see it move.
Abilities: Goes into battle against insurmountable odds, and usually scares off the enemy or scraps all of them.
Weaknesses: He’s a screaming lunatic. If he wasn’t so good at fighting, he’d have been deactivated.

Radical
Function: Extreme Scenario Warrior
"Totally gnarly dude!"
Profile: Picture a stereotypical surfer, arm him to the teeth, then place him inside a Decepticon and you will know Radical. He was programmed to be a one con army, and he lives up to his function. Unfortunately, he's developed quite a laid back attitude to the war. He views it as a "day at the beach" and treats it as such. Quite often, his commander sees him shooting Autobots and yelling "Cawabunga!" or sometimes he lays down and has an energon drink; which annoys his commander no end. Out of battle, he's friends with everyone. His attitude makes almost everyone drawn to him.
Abilities: In car mode, Radical has a turret-mounted weapons array capable of laying fire in 360 degrees almost simultaneously and with deadly accuracy. This array becomes a shoulder mounted weapon capable of firing lasers and missiles. His armor can withstand a direct rocket blast.
Weaknesses: He's an avid risk taker, which means he'll be slagged quicker. His laid back attitude in battle is cause for concern.

Wing Ripper
Function: Troop Transport
"I am not responsible for damaged goods."
Profile: Assigned the boring duty of transporting troops, Wing Ripper tries to make the flight as interesting as possible, generally by performing daring stunts with his comrades inside. Naturally the Decepticon army doesn't believe in safety harnesses so Wing Ripper’s passengers arrive late and a little worse for ware and not much in the mood to fight. Does this bother him? No. Does it make people hate him? Yes.
Abilities: Can pull astounding aerial maneuvers the should only be performed by aircraft 1/2 his size. In battle, he wields long range weaponry with some degree of accuracy. Built in weather sensors allow him to predict where various weather patterns will happen.
Weaknesses: Sooner or later, Wing Ripper's passengers would scrap him for the stunts he's pulled. Or his stunts will scrap him.

Capsize
Function: Naval Assault
"If it can float, it will sink"
Profile: He's extremely protective of his oceanic domain and he'll defend it against any potential threat, including fellow Decepticons. The mere sight of a boat on the surface will send him into an uncontrollable rage that will not pass until the ship is in pieces. He's calmed by the brightly colored fish that populate the ocean, but he's uneasy when other Decepticons are near, especially Decepticons who transform into sea bound creatures or vehicles.
Abilities: In sea creature mode, Capsize's three tentacles can expand to a length of 100 meters each. His grip with these tentacles can crush coal into diamond in 1.5 hours. He has claws that can snap titanium in two with no effort at all. If he needs to escape, he emits a sensor jamming frequency and squirts black ink to cover his escape.
Weaknesses: He will attack anything that invades his territory. This includes Decpticons who only mean to relay messages. His anger only abates when there are no artificial constructs or beings around.

Compare that with some of the bios I write today (I consider them to be near MTMTE standards) and I've made huge progress over the years.
