NOT BLUDGE!

It is in fact everybodies favourite purple rampaging dinosaur .... CARNOSAUR!

When I picked up the knock-off Sludge I was going to use for Bludge, he also came off with a knock-off Grimlock. A PURPLE knock-off Grimlock. I took one look at it and said "That's Carnosaur".

So with a bit of help from Dynamax and a little bit of painting later purple Grimlock had become Carnosaur.

And after a nearly two week trip Carnosaur arrived in Canada earlier this week to the house of Mr Dynamax who as I post this is meeting up with Carnosaur to deliver his name sake to him.

Did I mention that Carnosaur knew nothing about this and it's actually one big suprise for him?

Anyway, I suppose I should get on with the pics huh? Before I do I would like to point out the crappyness of the pics. It didn't matter what I tried the purple kept coming out blue. I consulted Ryan himself and he gave me some tips on what to do but unfortunately I didn't have a camera that could do what needed to be done, but I assure you he is in fact the purple we've all seen.

So on with the show!

Glad you like it dude. It's hard putting together someone's character without consulting them. I'm sure Dynamax will tell you just how annoying I was to be constantly pushing him for thoughts and comments with each update I did.

Annoying nothing, I thought it was cool. I'm glad i could've done my part.

I guess the Bubbatron kitbash is out of the question with the troubles you mentioned a few months back.

And what problems? Only thing I seem to recall saying is losing a few screws and parts off G1 Brawl who I was going to use.

Nice find Burn. Where did you get it? Doesn't look bad for a knock off either(and it does look purplish on my screen too).

Finally a Barney we can all enjoy... because he can blow things up!

E-Bay. It came with Sludge and Snarl, I only wanted Sludge because I knew if I kept waiting for a G1 original Sludge i'd be waiting forever to find it cheap (low and behold, I snared a large lot of TF's the other day which looks to have a nice good Sludge in it and it was for a cheap price)

And looks can be deceiving. Believe me. While the KO Sludge is pretty good quality, Grimlock wasn't. I did have to do a couple of running repairs and even then some things don't line up, not because they're broken, but because of how it was manufactured.

At one stage I felt like scrapping it completely because I felt it was too junky to give to Ern, but by the time I was finished I decided it wouldn't fall apart at the drop of a hat (word of warning Ern, don't put him in a hat and drop it, in fact don't drop it at all)

But hey, at the end of the day, Ern likes it, I was happy with it, and one of the more well known HMW characters gets his own kitbash so it's all good.

nah, just a guy who half the time has no idea what he's doing and gets lucky more than anything.
Though what I did for Bludge yesterday proves that i'm different from other kitbashers

i think cannon fodder lemming proved that burn.

And I really should get around to showing off Re-Morse Code Lemming someday.

As well as starting on the rest of the "Lemming Liberation Front".
