first off, does intelligence actually provide any benefits in battle? also, in the help section under XP calculator, what are all those other tactics that dont appear, such as catch and stealth? when will they be obtainable or are they already available but not easy to get? and what are these new robot mode abilities? what exactly do they do?

... I refuse to answer that question.

Look for them in v2.

what are these new robot mode abilities? what exactly do they do?

Not yet revealed.

Wasn't int supposed to be used to help your mech decide who to attack? It's also supposed to be involved in the repair stat.

Currently, all Int does is boost the Repair tactic. If you don't have the tactic, don't both with Int. This should change in v2.

Yes, I'm helping the enemy. I like my fights to be interesting.

Aside from boosting Repair, the int is only good for unlicking certain tactics for certain alt. classes (see the help->tactics page for more)

For autobots, Int can boost the damage received, too. :P
higher stats->higher level->more damage received

I think that SERIOUSLY depends upon who's doing the unlicking. :P

It is currently used in repair.
I am designing it to also increase your chances of hitting the opponent with the highest XP.

Doesn't also make it harder for the Judges to posses you?

The Robot Abilities don't seem to affect leveling. Prowl needed +2 to get to level 8; I did 2 points under Robot Abilities and his level didn't budge. :(

At the moment the points in robot abilities do not count towards levelling.

So I should think of the robot abilities points as permenant minicons, then? Boosting stats and such?

:-? That raises some interesting thoughts from an RP perspective.

It really could just as easily have said "Minicon Partner" with a Minicon Bot-mode as it could "Robot Abilities". It would be analogous to the character's permanent partner, and you'd be training-up their powerlink ability...

Are these abilities even implemented yet or are they just for superficial value? I'm not seeing any better performances, and in fact my guys are performing less than they did before with these newfound "abilities."

Word.

Same here, it seems more like robot abilities are being detracted instead of added. :-?

I haven't really noticed a marked difference one way or another on most of my bots, but Optimus Prime does seem to be performing slightly better since getting the robot abilities.

It's hard to tell whether it's a trend or just the current whim of the RNG, which does tend to be a capricious bitch.

I have one strafer that seems to be doing better, though it is worth noting, that unlike my other characters, her RA points bring her to just under 10Fp rather than over it. That worries me a bit.

I think they make a little add. My con did 16 damage unarmed - with zero strength but 6 ability on the power type-

I'm noticing a difference in a good way on all the cons I put points into the robot mode :-?

Seems like you need to 4-5 points deep to notice though.

:BOT: Maybe it's luck but I find it interesting that two Autobots who are still are protoforms lost to a Decepticon decked out in robot abilities as shown here.

Or we just suck at HMW :) :CON:
