Well, don't be so impatient next time. :P

Nice work, OS.

So how do these work? Presumably the 'bot type doesn't affect the actual stat numbers; does it just affect your effective stats when in battle? And if that's the case, then how does it work with, say, the Recon type's skill 'upgrade' since skill only (AFAIK) decides what weapons you can buy?

Also, as much as I like the idea, and I'm eager to try it out (first six 'test troops' have just gone in), I'm just trying to work out the logic of some of the combinations, especially the Computational type. Intelligence and Courage? I'd have thought something like that would be better defined as Intelligence and Rank (if the target selection and group tactics were implemented), or otherwise Intelligence and Skill. I'd have thought Recon would be better with a Courage upgrade in place of the Skill one.

i was wondering if you could use all 3 of these in V2?
Bulk Type robot mode,Deflector minicon, and Absorb tactic.
if so that would be one hard nut to crack.

and ty for all the hard work and new gifts OS

Really loving the robot mode abilities option and can't wait to test all of these new configurations. Now I need to do some resetting...

How does this part work, exactly? Does it allow a character to install better armor than their current rank, enhances the protection provided by the armor they currently have installed or something else?

If you have at least 1 ton of armor on each stat on a Bulk Type raises it's quantity by 1/2 ton.

That's going to make it very interesting at the higher levels facing off against opponents with an effective 15 END and 15 tons of Electrum

No, the interesting part will be, when the Fallen will get his own robot-mode...

You'll find configurations to counter that if you play with it enough.

Your configuration combinations just got exponentially larger this week with the robot modes.

What's so special in Assault type? Sure, it boosts Firepower - and so what?

After all, Firepower is only needed for Strafe, and I don't think that's exactly worth Strength or Speed increase which other modes give...

Or does it boosts the weapon damage too? It'd be great if it did :)))))))...

How about a free, non-stat resetting reset for those individuals unhappy with their robot mode selections? One time, I'll pay you whatever I need to Energon-wise. Howabout it, OS? Pretty please.

Word.

And on a further note: With all these new implementations, V2 can't be too far down the pipeline, can it?

Increasing Firepower can significantly increase strafe damage, and Strafing is a key and perhaps over-powered component of the high level game (whereas Speed becomes very weak because most attacks by that point are tactics attacks and tactics don't rely on Speed to increase hit chances - something I've always thought was stupid, but that's neither here nor there). So, for certain mid- to high-level builds, the Assault type can be a brutal addition.
