Curse Robot Abilities...

I'm completely screwed. I squandered all my hard earned XP on Robot Abilities and now my troops completely and utterly suck. So, no XP to use in important stats, and stuck with non-resettable Troops with slag builds.
This completely bites.
Word.

Just so long as your base builds are sound the robot abilities shouldn't gank you too badly one way or another. And if your base build can't make up for a poorly chosen robot ability, maybe you needed to reset, anyway...

Hell, it's reset time anyways, time to experiment around until v2 launches. The only limitation is energon.

Thanks!
-Note to myself: 1 more point for going predacon

No, I resetted a lot time, and installing the armor took my last energons.

You know, you've always rubbed me the wrong way...regardless...
I can't reset them, because a majority of my characters have extremely rare alts that were around before you even fell into your first mission here. For starters, the Lego tank--that thing is gone and probably NEVER will be brought back into the rotation.

They're all going to go away soon enough... unless you think doomsday.. I mean V2... will never arrive? Or be long enough away to cuddle your unresettable alts?
I'm still hagigng onto my ecto1 and grimlock alts from my autobot days, but the rest I've gone ahead and reset.

Dude, it's in the Con rotation for version 2 under the repair tank class.

I'm a headhunter, not a mercenary. As I see, the number of the predacons will be very low, so the chance is great that I'm going pred.
More enemies = more targets.

I agree with Q. I've managed to give all of my guys the wrong robot mode, and regret that there isn't the (even temporary) option to reset just the robot mode.

I've just held off on assigning robot modes on rare alts until I experiment with them first ¬_¬ I don't like risking my alts...

There is no such thing as a "wrong robot mode". You just have to know how to configure other stats to work with them.
Unfortunately in QS' case he's got all those unresettable alts. But before people get all uppity OS has said that the robot mode WILL be a resettable option in it's self.

Which I dont really understand the logic of.
It'd be like having the altmode/tactics independently resettable from the main stats.
Course the lazy ass in me still wants it to happen.

Yeaaaahhhhh....it is kinda odd.
Tactics are linked directly to the alt mode. So they can't really become resettable on their own.
Look at robot mode however as modular upgrades. Capable of being swapped around without the need to rebuild the entire character.

Oh I'd expect the tactics to be lost if the alt mode was indipendantly resetable, just as I'd expect the RM abilitis to be lost if you were to reset the RM.
Me n Windy just had a very long argument about this on MSN, and failed ot come to a conclusion, other than to say, that going of TF shows past, if anything, the robot mode sjould be set firm, and the alt mode relativly easy to reset.
Personally though, Id still rather, from a 'cause it makes sence' poing of view be adveresed to anything being indipendantly resettable.

not in V1, but my continual moaning has secured it for the V2 decepticons.

Amazing. I must say that's cool. I'm hoping that some of the Predacon, Maximal and Autobot alts jump ship to the Decepticons here and there sometimes in V2.
Word.

Looks like they have the alt.modes finalized. Still, there are good assortments. May your enjoyment of the game not be diminished.
