Im new but how do you get a robot mode?

Character screen > upgrade screen > scoll down > click one you want

Have you scrolled down?

Are you sure you haven't picked one already? If you haven't they'll be there when you scroll down the upgrades page.

I just looked him up.

Instead of saying "Protoform" it says no robot mode :-?

He needs to create a new character and THEN AFTERWARDS go back and reset it. It appears the robot modes aren't available on the character creation screen yet.

what dose it do?
dose the charictor get any advanteges? :-?

It is a stat booster effectively. Each one effects the stats listed in the first of this post.

Each point you put into the robot mode ability, raises the effected stat(s) by 1/2 of a point. So 4 points in Melee type would raise your strength stat by 2. But please note that these boosts are not visible on your character screen, but they do take effect in battle.
