So I was resetting all my Transformers last night and I came up to one of mine who had one of the X-Mas Tourney's altmodes. Before I realized it, I reset said TF and then came to the realization that I couldn't get his altmode back. So I don't suppose if there is any use in asking if I will ever be able to get that altmode back? Any input will be appreciated.

It all depends on the altmode rotator if it's ever implemented. It'll also hinge on the rarity of the alt you lost; if it's common you have a better chance of getting it again than if it were a rare one.

So was the Transmetal Dragon a rare or common altmode?

The white dragon? Yeah, that's a common alt. You'll probably have no problem getting that one again whenever alts start being swapped out.
