So I was playing around with the PrintScreen option yesterday, and though my attempts to screencap Beast Wars failed, a much more interesting idea popped into my head afterward.

I gave it a shot this morning, and I can (fairly) easily get screencaps from my old Impossible Creatures computer game.

So yes, with some limitations (game doesn't have dinosaurs, and certain combinations are limited), I can now pump out computer rendered Fuzors.

I'm hoping that even some of the goofier looking ones will make decent Alt Icons. The better looking ones people might be able to use in things like MTMTE pages and such.

Some of those are disturbing. Silly Maximals and Predacons wanted to go to animal forms but now want to forms in one.

Some of these critters are too horrific for a horror flick.

How big do you need them?

It adds a couple steps, but for the ones people would actually want it's no problemo.

Though obviously the resolution degrades:

I was afraid that was what I was going to have to do at first since the windows-button doesn't work in this game, but I've been using ctrl+alt+del to get out of the game in order to paste the picture. Then I can just hit the tab at the bottom and pop back in.

Edit II: I gotta go take care of some stuff; will hopefully be able to do more later.

For those wanting to make requests, here is a list of all the critters I have access to. I only lack the "Creature Chaos IC mod 4.2"; I'll see about downloading it later - it took me a couple of years before I was able to successfully download the two official patches though, and if the mod replaces creatures instead of adding them I won't bother.

I have the full-version of the game and now you reminded me to go and install it back into my computer. GAH!! Gotta love Impossible Creatures!

If you have them, how about Grizzly Bear + Warthog? Given the apparent limitations of the IC game, that looks to be the closest combination possible to Manbearpig
