Missions against the factions with the least population should have less combantant slots than missions between two most populated pactions.

that way they wont be overpowered due to shear numbers.

example: autobot/decepticon/maximal vs. Preds is 0/2-4
autobot vs. decepticon 0/4-10

i was thinking about this, it seemed a little clunky, but then thought some more;

link it to number of active possible participants. so if there are 4 maximals online then the mission num ers are capped to a max of 4, even even the maximal versions of the 1-11s

Concidering whats coming up in V2 I'd be totaly against this idea. If a faction is undermaned, then of course they are gonna struggle in a war. Adding stuff like this which is basically designed to stop the dominent faction (whoever that may be at anytime) being able to use it's advantage.

Why should numbers be an advantage? This game shouldn't come down to a popularity contest where the most popular faction gets the most numbers and wins... Other players who choose less popular factions should be given just as much of a chance of winning and enjoying themselves. From what I've been gathering, OS is striving mightily to make sure this is the case, anyway.

With campaigns only being 1 part of the game, I don't think numbers will matter too too much. Basically campaigns will be a priority, especially for smaller factions, but even the smaller factions should have enough support to fill up the campaign missions, they will just not be able to do as much in missions or the arena, which won't really matter anyway.
