Mornin' lads.

I haven't been around for a while, and noticed there are now Maximal teams...when did this happen, and how do i sign up?

Or have I missed the happy joyous opportunity?

As for when it happened ... few months ago. And people were transferred over manually to help test the code and to see how the game would handle four factions (because there's Predacons too)

I think there are around 50 of us Maximals but I haven't done a head count for a while. The bigger question is how many still stalk the forums to realize that HMW is finally up.

Luzac and General Lysis were the only preds that came back. MAybe because the game was up for only a day.

So, cons are pretty much the only active faction at the moment?

It's Business as usual. We're the most active overall. Preds are second, mostly because they used to be cons for the most part.

Sorry, the rest of the site was killed for me by the influx of movie noobs creating 1.5 billion posts and the forums being broken so I couldn't keep track of what was new.

Just never got back into the other forums after that.

It'll annoy you for a year or so, then you'll get over it and work to improve the site while watching others get all the recognition, thus giving you a whole new reason to not be loyal.

That seems unnecessarily harsh - afterall, not everyone plays for the same reasons, and if nothing else, some people don't see the point of hanging around here to talk if, as far as they're concerned, there is nothing to talk about.

Some do go and venture outside of HMW Forums. It is kind of hard to talk about HMW stuff when HMW isn't going on. I'm sure the true seibertron.com fans haven't abandoned it. Maybe some of though who only play HMW have and will return when HMW is back up. Maybe for some it is being used to take a break from it for a while. Things will get back going when HMW comes back.
