I'm trying to figure this out. Now I align myself with the Autobots, but I don't get it. Whats the purpose?

I read it's "so Con's can't spy on us" or something to that affect, but the Decepticon's don't have a seperate forum. They post here in the regular HMW Forum.

I'm looking for answers from HMW Mod's who are Autobots. PM me if you don't wanna post the reason's here. I already know what the Con's will say.

The Cons DO have their own forum. Plus they post here.

Also each clan AWC,RDD,PAC,MDF have their own too.

Jazz, ur the perfect example. I see you getting into with various Con's who then have Mods jump in. Where are the Autobot Mod's let alone Autobots to back you up?

Generally, we're the more active members. The bots nowadays are more casual players than dedicated HMW fans. There are a few though.


Heck, many members have tried things to get more of your own faction to post in here. But you all seem to be about yourselves rather than the 'greater good'.

Well, most of us 'bots don't seem to post very often anyway, but with the game being down lots of people have disappeared (not just 'bots but 'cons as well)

See, I think thats what makes the game fun though. LIke for instance, Dealer, I know for a fact the weakest member of your team will probably hand the strongest memeber of mines his mech rear, but the fun is in the hype leading up to the battle.

Agree or Disagree, Fights in general, boxing or whatever, are better when hype pushes it foward.

I agree, but I think the lack of backup probably puts people off posting, and as Burn says, the comebacks that do get posted are lame so that doesn't help our rep.

I put the AWC on hold this past summer. We were going through a restructuring and then was told HMW v2.0 was coming out "soon." So I kept it off line until then. THen we got incorperated into HMW where we were given our own forum. Since the game has been up and down for a while now, the AWC has been fairly inactive. You just happened to try and join up in a period of inactivity due to HMW status.

The Autobots have their fair share of gamers, but since the unreliability of HMW as of late, some have just take some time off due to real life. When HMW v2.0 does finally come out, I am sure they will be back and the Autobots, along with the AWC, will be active again.

Thanks Jazz and EP. I'll take that into consideration. I'm not sold on joining a clan or whatnot yet, but I'll weigh my options and see about. Hopefully before V2 starts up.

There's also Alpha Strike.

Of course the Cons kinda don't have one, since Mkall is probably above that kind of thing now

I think it might be time to reopen the AWC EP. It's still gonna be a while before V2 hits, and you could be using this time to plan for the war ahead and recruit soldiers.


Plus, as has been said, the bots are getting battered every which-way without support. jazzrules and co can only do so much against an enemy in greater number and experience.



hehe, bugs is a pretty accurate analogy

It is "active," meaning I opened it back up and we have our list or AWC members. It is just since that the game keeps being turned on and off the members aren't as active as they normally would be. Like I said, when HMW is more reliable, then things can get back going. Plus it has been hard since I have had some problems in RL. But they should be taken care of soon and will be back in a more full time basis.

At this stage being in a clan really only offers you closer friendships, as far as backup and configuration support goes you should be able to get that in the main Autobot forum.

So please, on behalf of all Decepticons I ask you to go into the Autobot forum and rally them. Us 'Cons manage to find time to juggle real life with HMW, and we show loyalty to this site by sticking round even when the game is down. So please, go forth, rally them, stir them up, the game NEEDS more forum active Autobot commanders.
